This exquisite 18ct Yellow Gold Edwardian Suffragette ring is a beautiful example of the jewellery worn to show allegiance to the Suffragette movement, and devotion to the cause of securing women’s rights.
Suffragette jewellery consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
In this case, a central 0.50ct Amethyst is flanked by a pair of 0.25ct Peridots and two 0.02ct old cut Diamonds on the ring’s shoulders.
It is a historic piece, and a true treasure.
