Early 1950's silver brooch by the South African silversmith Joe Calofato.  This brooch depicts a Zulu warrior and is stamped on the back Candida which is an early makers mark for Joe Calofato.  Measuring 36mm x 22m and weighing 3.1g, this is a highly collectible piece from the silversmith from Pretoria.
